The Session has called a Congregational Meeting for Sunday, January 5, at 10:10am, for the purpose of receiving and acting upon a recommendation from the Nominating Committee: To elect Annie McDaniel as elder, serving with the Fellowship Committee; and to re-elect the following officers to a second 3-year term: Elders Herb Foster (Buildings & Grounds), Cheryl Stepka-Tracey (Congregational Care), & Betty Anne Wilson (Mission & Outreach); and Deacons Heather Bryan, Ellen de Jong, Lucia Oswald, Carlen Quinn, Julie Radabaugh, Claire Steed, & Karen Williams.
The Adult Discipleship Committee generally meets on the 1st Monday of each month, at 6:00pm, in the library.
Effective September, 2021, the Mission & Outreach Committee meets the first Tuesday of each month, at 5:30pm to plan ways that we can GIVE, SERVE, and SHARE as a congregation.
Sisterhood Circle generally meets on the 2nd Thursday of each month, gathering at different members’ homes. They choose their own study each year, and they participate in churchwide Presbyterian Women events and projects.
JIPCs Buildings & Grounds Committee generally meets the 2nd Monday of each month, in the Fellowship Cafe.
The James Island Presbyterian Foundation Board generally meets at 6:30pm on the 2nd Tuesday of each month.
JIPC’s Session normally meets the 3rd Tuesday of each month. We meet in the Education Building, 1st room on the left.
The January, 2025 meeting is a combined December’24 – January’25 combined meeting. The time of the meeting has yet to be determined.
