Generally our study passage is the lectionary passage for the upcoming Sunday.
The Adult Discipleship Committee generally meets on the 1st Monday of each month, at 6:00pm, in the library.
First Monday Circle meets at different members’ homes. The schedule occasionally changes to accommodate holidays.
This committee generally meets the first Tuesday of each month, at 9:30am. It is rescheduled from time to time to accommodate the schedules of the participants.
Effective September, 2021, the Mission & Outreach Committee meets the first Tuesday of each month, at 5:30pm to plan ways that we can GIVE, SERVE, and SHARE as a congregation.
Join this team that helps with various projects with Habitat for Humanity, as needed. You can help on the 1st Friday and/or the 3rd Saturday of each month, as your schedule allows!

| Middle School Mission Trip: Asheville Youth Mission Co.
Current 5th – 7th grade youth · July 7 – 12, 2024 · Asheville, NC | First Presbyterian Church, downtown Asheville · Cost: $500/youth (scholarships available) · Deadline to register: April 1 Chaperones: We will need two male and at least one female chaperones by March 15. A Sunday evening to Friday morning program that includes volunteering at 4 to 6 worksites and debriefing programs that include Bible study, group discussion, and art projects as a means of reflection. Towards the end of the week groups will be led in an urban awareness walk, discernment of a plan on how to “take the experience home” with them, and a closing worship. Housing is provided (indoor camping style) as well as most meals. |
