We strive to honor God with excellence in our music programs. Our Chancel Choir sings each Sunday. Handbell, Children and Youth Choirs participate regularly. We present special music at Easter and Christmas, including strings and brass ensembles. The Children and Youth Choir holds annual presentations near Pentecost and again during Advent.
Cherub Choir
Cherub Choir is offered to 3- and 4-year-olds through kindergartners. They meet weekly during the school year on Sundays from 9:50 to 10:10. This energetic group sings a few times a year in worship and joins with the Children’s Choir to present the annual Christmas Pageant.
Children’s Choir
Children’s Choir is offered to first through fifth graders and meets each Wednesday of the school year from 5:00 to 6:00 in the choir room. They and sing at least once a month for worship services. These kids look forward to joining the Cherubs in their presentation of the Christmas Pageant. The highlight of their year is the Youth Musical presented in the spring with the Youth Choir.
Youth Choir
Youth Choir meets on Wednesdays during the school year at 5:00 in the sanctuary. These 6th through 12th graders sing once a month for worship and look forward to their spring presentation of the youth musical with the Elementary Choir.
Youth Bell Choir
Youth Bell Choir also meets on Wednesdays during the school year. They rehearse in the sanctuary at 5:30 and play a few times a year in worship.
Adult Bell Choir
This group is made up of members who have some musical knowledge (basic note and rhythmic reading) and have a love of handbell music. The group meets throughout the year on Wednesday from 6:15-7:15. The bell choir typically rings in church services once per month and for special occasions throughout the year.
Chancel Choir
Chancel Choir is a volunteer choir that sings for worship each Sunday through the year, as well as special services in the community and during Advent and Lent. Rehearsals are on Wednesdays in the sanctuary from 7:30 to 8:45. This group is open to 9th graders in high school through adults. New members are always welcome!
Pre-service music
Pre-service music is presented before every worship service. Those who participate are volunteers who play an instrument (piano, brass, strings, guitar, etc). Ages range from young Elementary through older adult.
