This year we are going back to the very beginning and studying Genesis. For our first cohort, we will explore Genesis 1. Did you know the Bible has two creation stories? Genesis 1 gives us the first creation story followed by Genesis 2 with a completely different creation story. In February and March, we will compare the two.
Come to the Table Cohort 4th Tuesday Night
This year we are going back to the very beginning and studying Genesis.
Fellowship Lenten Table: Each Wednesday night during Lent, all are invited to join us for a meal, fellowship, and study. The meal will be from 5:30-6:30 pm. $10 per person and $30 max per family. Fellowship Lenten Table will end on April 2 which is Maundy Thursday. During Holy week we will meet Thursday and not Wednesday. Maundy Thursday will have worship instead of classes. The next five weeks will have the schedule of a meal followed by classes.
Fellowship Lenten Table Studies: After the Wednesday night meals during Lent, we are offering three opportunities to dive deeper into our faith.
- “Who Do You Say I Am?” This is the question that Jesus proposes to his disciples. In this class we will explore the I am statements of Jesus in the Gospel of John. This class will utilize the teachings of the sermon given the prior week. Therefore, if you ever left on Sunday and had follow up questions, here is your chance to not only ask away but dive deeper into “I Am.”
- I Am a Child of God: Join us each week during Lent as we utilize the ancient Enneagram tool that goes beyond a personality test and asks us to reflect on why we do what we do. In doing so, we will begin taking steps into trusting God’s grace for us and learning how to have grace with ourselves. We pray that this class helps us discover who we are in God’s image. The “Who Am I” class will use The Road Back to You by Ian Cron and Suzanne Stabile as a study guide.
- I Am a Disciple: As Christians we are called to be disciples of Jesus. But what does it mean to say, “I am a disciple.” Please join us as we explore this question and dive deeper into the privileges and responsibilities of calling ourselves disciples. This class will use Rowan Williams’ Being A Disciple to help guide us through Lent.
The studies will begin on Wednesday, February 25, and end on March 25, 2026. The above books are available online or email [email protected] by February 18. Childcare will be providedfor those who sign up for childcare in advance, so parents can participate with peace of mind. Scan the QR code for childcare services for this event.
